Install Technician

This role is responsible for the initial setup of our product; taking hardware, configuring to our software and getting it installed and online at customer sites.
This role consists of multiple tasks involved in the initial steps of customer onboarding. A large representation of those roles are focused on the configuration and installation of our product:
- Building, Configuring, and Testing the product to ensure optimal functionality in the field.
- Traveling to customer sites to perform hardware installations.
- Working closely with the Customer Success Team to ensure proper documentation and recording of onsite information is directly translated to our software.
- Develop a strong understanding of our hardware and software to enhance troubleshooting abilities as needed.
- Working closely with the Customer Success Team to determine customer sites in need of service and performing the customer visits.
In addition to the fundamental duties of the Installation Technician, there are many other duties that fall in line as needed:
- Shipping Process
- Preparation for onsite visits (prep work / needed parts, etc.)
- Warranty claim hardware troubleshooting and verification.
- Best practice enhancement and continuous improvement.
- Aligning with the Customer Success process and assisting as needed.
Qualifications Preffered:
- Experience in an industrial/manufacturing facility.
- Experience in an install technician role.
- Experience in a maintenance environment.
- Experience and an understanding of Predictive or Preventative Maintenance Programs.
- Engineering education.
